are $120 lighter in the wallet, and miss out on some of the tremendous tools Tiger brings to Our Kind, I have to say my vote goes to Tiger+Lightroom.

True, Gabe. But older Macs can't make full use of Tiger's capabilities. So new (Intel)Macs are required. That ups the ante for me by a couple thousand.....!
And with Leopard announced, I think I'll get my new Macs not before Xmas.
So, until then, I'm quite happy with that 4 app combo!
