This was actually my first-ever for-real large format shot. Let me know what you think!

The full res version was saved with lowish jpeq quality in order to keep the file size down to 5.5MB or so -- the original of course has no jpeg artefacts.

For the technically inclined, this was shot with a Cambo Legend 4x5, Nikkor-W 150mm at approx f/22 (possibly smaller, I don't remember), Better Light Super-6K back.  Resolution was 6000x8000, bent 6 stops scale,  1/50s line time.

Note that this is cropped for printing with a slight bleed, so the composition assumes that the actual image will be mildly cropped on all sides. Monochrome conversion was done in Photoshop, otherwise there's not much to say about the development.

Nice classical image, thanks for posting. The composition works, and the B&W does give it a certain f64 look that is nice.

This isn't terribly important, but I looked at the full scale image as well, and honnestly wasn't as impressed as I thought I would by the detail in that image. I am sure that some sharpening would help here though.

Is this representative of the sharpness you typically get with the betterlight?

I do also see some horizontal banding in the sky. Does that show in print?
