P45 for Astro Use

Has anyone tried using a P45 for astro photography. Michael's test pictures of the long exposure chracteristics of this back seem to indicate that it handles 30min exposures with pretty good noise levels. Even with the KAF-39000's relatively low QE numbers you could probably shoot and stack multiple 5-10min shots and get good results. Has anyone tried this?
Thanks,
Jonathan

I don't have a scope mount for my H2 (not even sure if one is available or possible) or a scope that would work with it, even if I did.
But, I see no reason why it wouldn't work really well with regular lenses just munted on a guided mount. I've been thinking about this as a project for next summer. My experience shows that long exposure are as clean as any camera or back I've ever seen. Just be aware though that you have a dark frame subtraction time of the same duration as the exposure itself, so don't figure on to many exposues in an evening.
