Advice on Epson R260 or other low end printers?

Hey,
Does any one have any advice or experience with the Epson Stylus Photo R260? Or any other inexpensive/low-end photo printers?

I want something to keep on my desk, print a hard copy/proof of photos I'm working with, print postcards to send out for promotion and keeping in touch, general color printing... I don't feel like it's justifiable to get into the high-end printers, when I can out-source it cheaper and easier.

But does any one have anything to say about which one to get?
Reliability?
Print quality?
print longevity?
