What's New page resetting???

Is anyone else having this problem ..... I use Firefox and the What's New page keeps dropping out before its fully loaded! I get the following message - "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading."
This has been happening for about two days now. It only happens with this page, the rest of the site is fine!!!!
Any clues? (Tried it with IE and have the same result.)

Well it seems no-one else is having the problem .... but I am still, and only with this one page! Can anyone suggest a solution?

Most likely you are using a proxy server, which has a problem with this particular page. Perhaps the stored copy has gone corrupt?

If you have a proxy set manually, try to remove it from the browser setting. If you are able to control the proxy, try to flush the cache. If you are automatically redirected to a  proxy server beyond your control, there is nothing much to do except wait until the proxy flushes the page by itself...

Well, I do have satellite broadband which uses a proxy server, but beyond that I'm in over my head. Since you seem to think it will eventually sort itself out, I'll try to ignore.

Bob, when in my studio, I only have satellite broadband as well. The problem you outlined happens sometimes when I am surfing other sites, but to date have not encountered a problem with the LL site. I find this often happens in heavy cloud or just on sunset. I couldn't understand why I was having problems with my satellite connection regularly at sunset, and a technician did explain it - but I didn't understand - something to do with the earth's atmosphere. Aparantly it is also a widespread  problem that 'radio hams' encounter as well.

Hi Julie,
The strange thing with my problen was it was ONLY the "What's New" page that had the problem. The rest of the LL site and every other web site worked fine.
Since the new LL site launched the problem has gone away so I think mwillberg was right.
