storage of printed pictures

hi guys, i was just wondering whether temperature can play a factor in the longevity of printed pictures. does it make a difference where you store your pictures?

Probably the same as any photographic medium.  Higher temperatures accelerate chemical reactions, such as the effects of ozone, so the cooler the better.

Yes, it does make a difference how you store your prints - just as with paper in general: Humidity, temperature, light and any exposure to chemicals can influence the paper base and/or the color. In the best of all worlds they should be stored dark, cool, medium dry and flat in a chemically clean environment. Not that most prints enjoy this kind of treatment. Mine certainly don't and do reasonably well.
