Hi Misha, and welcome to the list. Thanks for sharing your work, as well. I'd say both shots are well done, but since you've asked for comments, I'd say the first one has too much extraneous background above and behind the temple, and with the second one, the horizon is slightly tilted. While it's difficult to determine an actual 'horizon' in the mountains, I'm going by the coloured bands in the sky.

I can see now that the second photo is indeed slightly tilted (going by the colour bands in the sky).
Now, to your other comment about the "too much background" in the first photo. Do you mean by that, that the image should be cropped to remove the background, so that the ratio of the main subject to the surrounding area become bigger, or do you mean I should darken/blurr/etc... the background to make it less distracting?
Would appreciate your comment on this.
