This site uses a Flash add-on to load a 'photo of the day' slideshow and links to twenty-six separate photo galleries on the home page.  My concern: slow load times.

If you have a moment to check the link and provide feedback, your input will be appreciated.  If the slideshow seems to take inordinately long to appear, I'd like to know!

The galleries could be split -- with the 'photo of the day' remaining on the home page and the other galleries relegated to a separate page -- but it's easier to keep them together.  But not if they take forever to appear on screen.

Thanks very much!

I'm on a DSL line, and it took about ten seconds for the 'photo of the day' and thumbnails to appear. The slideshow started automatically and all seemed to move pretty quickly. And I get very impatient with slow sites (especially with irrelevant flashy distractions.) My only (minor) complaint is that it wasn't obvious what the little square icon to the left of the thumbnails was for. It took me to a text page, and it wasn't obvious how to get back to the slide show (until I accidentally clicked a thumbnail, which brought it back.) I'm not sure any change is warranted, since it works well, quickly, and cleanly as is.

Thanks for the feedback, Eric.   And as for the little square icon:  that's part of the template for the Flash add-on.  (Slideshow Pro)
