Hello. I've been asked to reproduce some paintings on Canvas. I have an Epson 7800, and I use Photo Black for all my work, and I am reluctant to swap the blacks.

So I am asking if there are available any good Canvas papers that will work great with PK. If there absolutely isn't I'd like to know your recommendations for MK. All your recommendations and thoughts will be appreciated!

Thanks.

I was told the Epson Canvas has a "medium gloss surface" and assumed PK was best for it, so I use the Piezo Pro Matte Canvas because I print with the matte black. [a href=\"http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/ProductMediaSpec.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&infoType=Overview&oid=-9041&category=Paper+%26+Media]http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/Product...Paper+%26+Media[/url] I am very happy with the matte and Piezo if you go that route.

Good luck.

I could not locate that spec in their documentation (I'm not saying it is not there, I just could not find it).

Since I print with MK on my 9800, I went with the Peizo, which is for MK. I hope this helps.

Epson's regular canvas requires photo black ink. Which explains why I have yet to try printing on the roll I've had for over a year, because I can't bring myself to waste the ink swapping from matte black ink on my 7600.

Hi,

I use the Hahnemuhle satin canvas with Photo black and Hahnemuhle artist canvas with matte black. Both excellent. (since I use IP with Phatte black I switch often between the two canvas kinds)
Epson premier art WR canvas works also with Photo black, but I found it would not resist much stretching.

Breathing Color canvas works with both photo black and matte black. Their chromata white canvas is nice but does miss some texture.

I have trouble finding Epson Canvas in Norway. Or is this the same product as Epson PremierArt Water Resistant Canvas?

Epson Premium canvas has a glossy surface and is designed for Photo Black. I use it all the time whith great results on a 9800. There is an updated profile on Epsons web site for this canvas.
