I'll be in Brazil for two weeks in early May 2007, mostly in Rio de Janeiro, but also Parati, and that coastal region. Advice welcome on locations and on precautions to take while in Rio de Janeiro and other cities to avoid street crime. I've been advised to leave my "large, black camera" home and take my Canon SD700 only.
