Hi Folks:

I found these today in the current issue of PopPhoto.  Thought they might be of interest to someone...

1) http://yosemite.org/vryos/pages/wallpaper.htm

Live webcam views of different sites in Yosemite National Park.  In case you want a quick view before you go.  I imagine the weather can change quickly there, but anyway...

2) http://photographamerica.com/

From the site: " Photograph America Newsletter is a 12-page travel newsletter for photographers, published bi-monthly since 1989. Each issue describes in detail where to photograph North American landscapes, wildlife, hidden waterfalls, remote beaches, slot canyons, wildlife migrations, and much more information. Learn where, when, and how to discover the best nature photography in America. Eighteenth year of publication."

It's not free, a one-year subscription is $45 US, but it might be worth it if you're looking for locations in a specific area.  There are also archived indexes  by region available for sale, and a free sample .pdf file.
