[a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=116301\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a] Don't feel too left out. I "converted" my subscription to download on April 12, got an email acknowledgement on April 14, but still haven't received the magic "coupons" that are supposed to let me download it.

[a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=116301\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a] Four of five segments of LLVJ-16 have been out for a while - the last is the location segment shot in Californa. I am still completing the editing, then Steven Sauve wil be doing the music, then I have to mix the sound. It will be posted for download in about two weeks. The DVD will follow after mastering, replication packaging & shipping... Chris S

The DVD will follow after mastering, replication packaging & shipping... Will there be a downloadable ISO file available once it's mastered?

Yes, I will create a special product for that at a premium price - somewhere between the $9.95 download and the $21.95 + shipping DVD - probably $14.95...it is also likely to appear well before the DVD arrives in the mail

Downloadable iso - nice to hear this will happen, but I am now perplexed! I have converted my DVD subscription to downloads, persuaded by the rhetoric from LL. Having received my tokens for purchase and converting one to LLJ 16 how do I now convert these to the downloadable ISO product? I am happy to wait while you think about it.

ISO descriptionor instead of downloading several mp4 files and then having to convert them to dvd format with a program like DVDFlickand then burn the converted files to disk, you download one ISO image and then using most dvd burning software you burn this to disk and end up with a DVD, should be much less time consuming. Frank [a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=117659\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a] At this point, I am unsure. The coupons designed for Download LLVJ will definitely not work with the DVD image file. The DVD image file will be a premium product about 50% more expensive than a single LLVJ download. I guess we could offer a 1:1 coupon for DVD subscribers, but since you have already converted, I believe that you will have to purchase it ... but I am open to ideas ... CS

I don't usually like to think a lot but here goes. Forget issue 16 I bought it, no problem. For the other nine coupons I have, I pay you the difference between the current download price and the new ISO price and you convert the coupons to ISO ones. Seems fair to me. As for the normal ISO transaction I believe a 1:1 exchange is reasonable, no doubt you will receive other perceptions. Frank

.... I am now perplexed! Frank So am I, Frank. I have a 'batch subscription' and am waiting patiently for Issue#16. I had no idea that distribution was switching to downloads only nor that coupons were available to convert subscriptions. Were subscribers informed by email, or was it simply announced on this forum ? ... and which version would be easiest to burn onto a dvd for domestic player ? That's why I'm perplexed.

For those 'at sea': DVD subscriptions continue and will do so for a while. DVD subscribers have the option to convert their DVD subsc to the downloads at a 2:1 rate. Details are on this page. CS

FYI I have just posted the California segment of LLVJ-16 HiRes Download; available here. The iPod version will follow within 24 hours. For those who have difficulty finding their Download video order ... check the first answer on the FAQ page! CS

I found it all by myself, without having to go to the FAQ page. You just walk 20 paces north from the tree that used to have an owl's nest in it, turn right, hop on your left foot another 73 paces, then . . . It's actually downloading as I write this.
