I'm trying to put together a website for commercial purposes:

I've put together a portfolio of images and would appreciate review and critique of it's strengths and weaknesses.

The portfolio aims to
1. Facilitate print sales
2. Give potential clients (custom installations, portaiture) an opportunity to see the style of my imagery

Hello Mehdi,
You have a fine collection here, including a few that I really like, (especially the brief moment in Yosemite); however I find the layout and labeling a little off-kilter.
I would have preferred to see each image with the label instead of the camera data. Clients are probably not going to be interested in shutter speed and aperture, or time of capture. instead the title should lead the viewer to the image - not sure if I explained that well.
Also, I would be inclined to group them according to subject or theme.
I hope this helps. I notice that you are using the same internet provider as me and wondered whether you have used their gallery or some other?
Anyway congratulations on your great images.

I agree with Bob's comments above, you have some good work there.  I assume you are going to add a short bio of yourself, a page outlining the buying process, something about how prints are produced, and a page with price info.

Mehdi, you've got some great images, but then again so do lots of other people. Hence if you are hoping to use your work online for commercial purposes you may find it's all about search engine optimisation. Leaving aside the page rank/link analysis stuff most top rated sites carry a lot more text, as that's what the search engine's spiders see and that's what people using the web would search for. Spiders don't see images at all and exposure data would be so generic that it would serve no purpose. Apologies if you already know this stuff, if you don't Google SEO or Search Engine Optimisation.

Mehdi,

You DO have some very nice photos, but the entire portfolio is a bit disorganized. I think might be stronger if you were to segregate the photos into a few different galleries so viewers can get a cohesive understanding of your work.

The images definitely need to be categorized and separated into separate portfolios.  On the first page the Bridal Romance image with all the landscapes jumped out like a giant wart.  It just doesn't fit.

Otherwise, very nice images.

Creating great images takes effort, attention and sometimes luck. Many devote the same in presentation worthy of their work, like framing and matting, or gallery selections, etc. Presenting in web galleries is no different:
