All lenses are sharpest 2-3 stops "stopped down" from wide open. So it's virtually guaranteed that f/8 will be sharper than f/2.8.
You may want to do a little reading about lens physics.

i think this is very normal. there are very few lens that can achieve sharpness through out.
and that's why the 85/1.2 is so expensive.
