I always have a backlog of processing to do. Thought some of you might be interested in this.

I also wonder if this could ever be considered a part of the 101 cliches   .

Is it a snapshot, or is it art? Or perhaps just a newsworthy and slightly sensational item of mild entertainment.

I happen to like it because I took the shot and I was in close proximity to a vicious looking beast, but not as close as the young damsel of course, so I can't claim any great adrenalin rush   .

Ray - you have completely misunderstood the situation! Itīs the four-legged animal that is in fear of the most fierce female of all: the two-legged one.

The way I read the photo, the two-legged one is chained to a stake in the ground and the four-legged one is free to do whatever it (he/she) wants to the staked victim.

Ray, were you also staked to the ground while taking the picture?

Nice kitty!

Eric,
Of course I wasn't. Do you think I'm mad!!

Some of the workers at this site, in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, are Aussies and New Zealanders.

The following shot is bungled due to misfocussing. But I'm going to show it for practical purposes. I always try to be helpful. If you need to restrain a tiger and stop it getting away, this is how you do it.

Ray,

I'm really impressed with how perfectly you have cloned out the bars that must have been between the Lady and the Tiger.

P.S. I have known several ordinary house cats that I wouldn't dare do that to.

Eric, he didnīt have to clone anything out: Kitty was stuffed. You can tell this by the glazed look in its eyes. Glass.

Even if it had ben real, Kitty would have known that old song about Tiger By The Tail and all would have been well.

On the other hand, if it wasnīt the tiger that had been stuffed, perhap a gentle word to the Consulates of Australia, New Zealand...

I just love these sophisticated encounters with fellow members; makes me feel right at home.
