5D skintones in lightroom

Excuse me for butting in on this great thread, but I am interested in getting my 5d colors better in LR as well, found this page and just wondering what you do once you shoot a GRETAG color chart and have image in LR? do you tweak ACR to eye preference, like, what is the procedure?
About 2/3rd down the page, the GRETAG chart.

Thanks, I am clueless with calibrating.

P.S. I tweaked my ACR settings in lightroom according to the above link, set them as my presets and on a import of 10 new files, only one (the first one) took the new default acr settings? any idea why ALL of them did not?

There are two (that I've found) scripts that are used in PhotoShop to analyze the color charts and provide camera calibration settings.

I've seen manual descriptions of the process, it reminded me of the process of tuning the carbs on a 1972 Datsun 510. An iterative process where every subsequent adjustment effects the all prior adjustments...

The Fors script returned very saturated results that didn't suit my tastes. The Rags Gardner script seemed more thorough and suited my tastes better.

Just discovered this thread.  First, for calibration I've found that the Tindeman script produces the best results.  The Rags script was pretty close.  It's probably best to try both once you've shot the color chart, since it doesn't take long to compare once you have the calibrations settings set up as a preset in ACR/LR.

However, I still can't seem to get great skin tones in LR/ACR with the 5D.  I recently switched to the 5D from a Pentax K10D, and that's one of the few things I really miss about the Pentax.  It had wonderful colors and that elusive "film-like" effect that I happen to really like.  I get that in daylight conditions with the 5D, but the WB is often pretty far off in tungsten or mixed light.

Someone above mentioned manual settings he/she uses to get good skin tones in LR.  If you'd be willing to share them in this thread, I'd appreciate it!
