Z3100/HP 70 Inks

Can anyone recommend a good (low cost, reliable, fast) source for Z3100 inks?

I noticed I was running out of Light Gray ink a few weeks back.  When it got below 30% I ordered a cartridge from TonerMax (through NexTag).  That was 2 and a half weeks ago.  As of last night it still hadn’t shipped, though they kept saying it had, and they couldn’t produce a valid tracking number.  I’ve cancelled that order and can’t recommend them.

I can recommend DTG as very reliable and friendly with great service.  I bought my Z3100 from them.

I would recommend buying the twin packs on ink as it saves money.

Their prices on the ink seem competitive.

I would recommend either Provantage or B&H Photo.  Both very god on price and if you are around the NY, NJ, CT area you get delivery from B&H in a day with their 3day UPS std service.

I can also vouch for Provantage, they are reliable and usually have surprisingly low prices on a lot of things that I look to buy. The only downside is that shipping is sometimes slow to the west coast (UPS problem not Provantage), but if you anticipate your needs, you can usually find a great price.

I found out that for California HP orders (don't know about other Western states) Provantage must order the paper from the HP distribution warehouse (they don't physically inventory the material), have it shipped to Provantage, then reshipped to the customer.  They said that the inventory count that is found on their site is actually the inventory of the distributor, not Provantage themselves.  They have great prices, but are not the place for getting a quick ink cartridge or roll of paper when you realize the cupboard is bare.

They have the best prices I've found anywhere on Z3100 ink, especially if you buy a two pack.  Figure your costs carefully though 'cause they have rather high shipping costs.

Their web site looks a little scary and I had an uneasy feeling that it might be some guy in Siberia or Kazakhstan operating out of the trunk of his Skoda or something.

However I've ordered from them several times and the service has been OUTSTANDING.  Once, I got the ink the next day after specifying normal shipping, so it didn't make the shipping costs seem so high.

Unless something changes, TheNerds are my regular ink source.
