BBC radio interviewed photographer Ashley Gilbertson today about his new book "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot" A Photographer's Chronicle of the Iraq War

The book contains some arresting and thought provoking images, some of which can be seen here: http://www.ashleygilbertson.com/iraq.html

There really are brilliantly talented and courageous photojournalists out there, folks just as good as Capa. Only thing is, our celebrity-obsessed and jingoistic media won't print their work. Too busy showing the latest photos of Britney or Heath Ledger.

Geoff, donīt balme the media. The media is in business to sell; it is the public that does the buying and it always votes with its feet.
