I have never sold surplus gear through anything but a face to face deal.  If you have used the For Sale forum, please give me a brief report on your experience.

Sold my Phase One P25 (high cost item) and other equipment by this.  Eventually met up in person.
item paid by American Express Checks (these can be verified by phone).  Everything went very well. I would do this again.
