[font color=\'#000000\']Yeah.  Big  time.  When the clouds are moving and the sun is either  setting or rising I often  shoot an entire  roll of 120 without moving the tripod  or  even  risking  recomposing with a differnt lens.  Heck once or twice  when things were really good I shot two rolls this  way.  The difference in the shots is always remarkable.[/font]

[font color=\'#000000\']I use film and have done the same thing.  The "32 second rule" works the other way too.  NOW may be as good as it gets, so if it looks good, shoot.  It may get better (or different) later, so shoot again.  But it is just as likely to get worse.[/font]

I was out shooting yesterday, in the late afternoon, the shots that i had taked look flat in the LCD, but paused and though about the story of the 32 second rule. After 32 second a shot another one, of the same scene and guess what happen ?
When i reviewed then at home on the computer I was amazed at how great the one shot was, and guess which one it was? The one I waited 32 seconds for.
I think this will make me a better photographer. So simple but so powerful. Thanks MR !!

[font color=\'#000000\']Sure. With my 10d I'd shoot 100 exposures during a really good sunset with a great scene framed.  Then I have to spend hours pouring over them to find the best two or three as the gradation between the shots is so slight.

I don't use digital for landscape.  It's too 'easy'.  Now if I ever get my hands on a 22  mp back it may be a different story. :cool:[/font]
