Lightroom Web Plugins

A while back I came across a template plugin to create web galleries in Lightroom (in addition to what it already offers).  Does anyone know of third party companies that create templates, plugins or anything to do with website/gallery generation from within LR?

Also look at SimpleViewer in the Lightroom Beta...works really nice.

I'm building a website for a food photographer out of NYC. He's still deciding on what gallery style to use.

Here's a REALLY ROUGH draft of the website with galleries buiit with three different Lightroom plugins.

Food link gallery is built with Lightroom's default gallery style.

Flowers link gallery is built with SimpleViewer embedded in the website's html code.

Drinks link gallery is built with slideshowpro.

I haven't done that much work embedding the other galleries in the website html code. Will spend more time on modifying slideshowpro as it has lots of potential.

I wonder if slideshowpro works for Lightroom, even if you don't have Flash installed on your computer.

Flash OR Lightroom, if I understand well? The latter is more useful for a photographer.

Personally, I really like SimpleViewer, and find the "default" appearance of SlideShowPro a tad too... complex (so I didn't take the time to dig into it), but that's definitely a matter of taste (and content too).

It isn't necessary to have Flash installed on your computer to use Slideshowpro for Lightroom. There is another application by the same folks, for Flash, that you can use to develop the same types of slideshows within other Flash projects, with a lot more flexibility of development. But if you want to create self-contained galleries, quick, easy and slick, Slideshowpro does a very nice job.

Actually Slideshowpro is available as a $25.00 Lightroom plugin. It's really highly customizable right in the Lightroom interface.

Also Slideshowpro, along with the other Lightroom plugin galleries, can be modified after it's built by editing the html and xml files.

Slideshow Pro for Lightroom + Slideshow Pro Director = a very potent combination.

The latter gives you a backend management system for your slideshows which is very slick. The plugin in Lightroom would be used for manipulating the layout and design of your slideshow, and it would reflect what ever you do with Director. It works well.

Yup... I'll second that.  Built my whole site around SSP for LR and SSP Director.  It's like having the best part of  a Livebooks site at a small fraction of the cost.
