12 volt charger for ZD

Are 12 volt chargers available for the ZD back battery? I can't find them on the Mamiya (UK) website.

it is 7.2V 1.2A charger (for ZD camera). They may be using the same battery

Ah no, wrong end of the stick, or cable. I want to charge from a 12V source, car battery in this case.

Is this for the ZD camera or ZD back?  FWIW, the Minolta np-400 battery is identical to the Mamiya PB-401 battery for the ZD back (don't know what the ZD camera uses), and this charger will work: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/3875...r_100_240v.html

Many thanks for the link Jack, looks like the very item required.  I'm puzzled by the price difference between the NP400 at $30 and PB401 at  $169 though. Are they the same animal or does the whiff of a rip off scent the air?

As far as I am aware the ZD camera and back use the same battery.

Justin, I am using the $19.95 batteries in the charger that Jack linked to above. Unfortunately, I am not sure which is the non-working part, but I suspect it is the charger. The charger light comes on, but there is no visible difference when I put any battery inside, whether the Mamiya battery or the Impact DL150 batteries that I bought. I will buy a CTA battery and see what the deal is.
