Your nostalgia list?

Just curious: asssuming you have listed them in chronological order of ownership, may I ask what turned you from the F2 Photomic to Canon?

I had the same camera alongside an F and the only thing better (to me) about the F2 was the slightly more rounded edges which made long shoots more comfortable.

I got a Lubitel 2 (cheap Russian twin lens reflex) when I was 12. This was a great camera to help me learn the basics of photography. No electronics.

Progressed to an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic-F years later. Bought a couple of lenses and excercised my creativity. Gradually spent less and less time on photography (other things to do...)

Then bought the Canon EOS 10 + tele-zoom to take on my first safari.

The move to digital came about 5 years ago with the Canon 10D. The options and control that digital offered enthused me again and I started to occasionally produce images that I think are good.

Upgraded to the Canon 5D about two years ago. Also bought the Canon iPF5000 to produce some good prints.
