I have been using a fair bit of muesum glass of late from Art Conservation framers in South Melbourne Australia.

There is a place in New Jersey that I have used (I am in CT).  THey have a delivery truck that goes up to southern CT ands delivery is $8 but beyond that they have to use common carrier as UPS will not carry the glass.  They carry Tru-Vue and other glass.

I use www.donmarcreations.com  (Don Mar Framing supplies).   They serve New England, NJ, and Pa (at least).  M&M is also good, as another response mentioned.  Both companies HIGHLY recommended for price and reliability.

Don Mar delivers to my home on a twice a week schedule.

I can't get into the Don Mar site. It asks for a login. Do you have a phone number?

Thanks,

How do you contact them?

Their website requires a login...no email or phone number visible.

Definitely Don Mar. you can't get into their website as it is for their customers only. You can call them at 1-800-556-7428. Only one little problem is they are closed for this week for vacation and will be back open on the 7th of July.
If you just need one or two pieces, check with any frame shop in your area. You will pay retail but it'll have to do till DM is back and you can open an account with them. You would then be able to use your account number to access their site.

If you want to drive all the way up here to Ellsworth, Me, I have alot of it around.

Thanks so much. I think we will have to not worry about it this week. I did find some here locally, but I can get a case for what they wanted for one piece.

I'll check with Don Mar next week.

Thanks for the good information from all of you.

Well, that's pretty much how retail works and is why you need to set up an account with DonMar to get the wholesale prices.

Of course, some places charge way more than others.
I charge $150 for a piece of 24" x 36" museum glass.

Oh, I didn't mean to imply that they were overcharging. It's just more than I could swing this week. I think they are reasonable for retail, especially in an area as expensive as Nantucket.

I'll get set up with Don Mar next week. Thanks so much for the info.
