The reason I brought this up in the first place was because I had to look something up for a blog I'm building for someone, and the Movable Type Forum looks like this....I just thought it odd that two sites catering to highly creative people go with a corporate default look. <-- some smileys for people who might feel the need to lecture us design-conscious types about form vs function.

Wow! I like seeing that nifty LL logo instead of Invision at the top of the forum. It really spruces it up and adds a bit of color to an otherwise drab forum skin.
One question, though: When I enlarge that logo, why do I see very fine print saying "Everything on this website is the exclusive property of Kaelaria."

Michael [a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=208510\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a] Yes Michael.. However you are known to be original, your images speak the truth!!! Therefore, I would extend the logo from left to right end... it will visually look better, more balanced if you will. I know some may be against the idea but I find that piece 'of web realestate ' perfect for future announcement's as it seats nice at the top and it's not irritating at all. Second best would be to leave it just plane, but definitely all the way where the line ends (from start to finish). Worst case scenario... you don't have to do it right away, but in time.. whenever....

It looms over the forums. I feel like it is going to fall and crush me! If I am quiet maybe it not notice me.

[a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=208567\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a] The relentless Luminosity of the Landscape Logo seeks out all penguins, wherever they may try to hide. Resistance is futile!

The new banner logo does look odd - 2/3 of the width of my screen, as if it's been designed on on 800 pixel wide monitor.

Place your vote for the width of the forum logo It will sit flush left until a new 'skin' is designed and paid for...

I'd pitch in for a new skin design.
FYI for those who like the current one - skins for such forums can be selected in a pull-down menu, provided more than one is available.
