PS I note the .cpgz files are much smaller than the .zip files (eg LR2_15-22_SD.zip.cpgz is 72.6 MB) - might similar compression be used for the downloads?
UPDATE - Perhaps not - good files (eg LR2_30-35_SD.zip) do not seem to compress any further (same file size as .zip or .cpgz).

Just a note for anyone else that may run into this problem .. if you decompress and see a .cpgz file it means that the download was incomplete or corrupted. I just ran into this exact thing when I was testing for the store upgrade so I thought I would share this information here.
