I find contrails to be a nuisance at times and usually clone them out, this one, by using a low angle shot crossed over the Sun and used as part of the image, taken in Leeds city centre as part of a project of new and old architecture in the ever changing city of Leeds to be exhibited in Leeds by Radart

I think it dominates the photo too much. It has become the subject of the composition, but it's not interesting enough to serve in that capacity. It's just a big featureless white hole with spikes. I find the rest of the image far more interesting.

This has possibilities - some slight tweaking could make the difference - increase the dominance of the sun for example.  One thing that's not very original, but who knows? - if you can do an after-the-fact distortion to curve the image *very* slightly, like a fish-eye, but *very* slightly.  Another possibility is a gradual fade in brightness from top to bottom or whatever.  This image is a good start on something, if not perfectly OK as is.

On the other hand contrails can have their uses.
