Is anyone using recent NEC large lcd displays, especially this one? :

And, have experience with direct comparisons for photography and inkjet output, between it and the  new 30" HP, 30" Samsung, and the old Apple 30" Cinema Display in regard to cost for their various price points? NEC warranty is 4 years I believe. Eizo 30" is out of my price range.

yes - there's quite a few of us on here with that monitor - do a forum search, and you'll find many threads on 30" monitors.

its very good, and the big gamut is noticeable immediately you use it.
only problem is getting NEC to release efficiently the Spectraview software to you, to calibrate fully.
but all of this is dealt with in another thread.

mine was $1995 from Tiger Direct, but they've gone up now to $2200.
