Hello Michael,
I sent you a more detailed email, but yes you are seeing classic color aliasing in the image of the trees against the sun.
Currently Kodak's photodesk only has one tool, the morie tool that might work on this, however by far the better tool is the Quantum Mechanic software by camera bits.
I have worked with the 660 with no filter as I found it to be the best way to get the max res. from that camera. QM is just part of the workflow. I feel that its a much better alternative than putting a AA filter on your lens as again you more than likely will soften up the image too much.
QM actually dates back to the first of the Kodak's, around 420 and 460 as these had no filter either, but its still a good tool. You should be able to take out almost all the Color aliasing with little to no detail loss.
I can also see your point that its yet another piece you have to add to the workflow. On the 660 I was willing to do it as the increase in res. with no filter was truly amazing.
