DPP 3.5.1 Color Space Help

Can someone please give me some help?

I've just switched to using DPP to convert my 5DII raw images to 16-bit TIF files because the current version of C1Pro 4.x does not properly support the camera and the long-promised update is delayed until after the holidays.  And I've got to get some work done.

The issue I'm having is that no matter what settings I've tried, the resulting .tif file is always in sRGB color space instead of AdobeRGB.

My cameras are set to AdobeRGB.  The default color workspace in DPP (Tools|Preferences|Color Management) is also set to AdobeRGB.  I have tried both with and without the "Embed ICC profile" setting in the batch processing options.  I have the Color Matching settings set to use the OS settings (which should be the custom color profile I use produced with a Spyder).

The result is always sRGB.

I'd be grateful for any help...

Problem solved.

Looks like setting the default working color space though Tools|Preferences|Color Management has no effect on anything.

There's another place to set it... Adjustment|Work Color Space and setting it there has solved the problem.

Hope it helps someone else avoid frustration...

This morning I had half an hour of great frustration  , actually! So thanks a lot for this precious info  .By the way, even if I periodically try Lightroom, the RAW quality I get from my 30D using DPP is the best. This is the reason of the great frustration, when the Color Management seemed not to work correctly.

Another DPP quirk, my processed TIFFs did not exactly match what the image looked like in the DPP Edit window. Color was a tad bit different. I opened the DPP Prefs>>ColorMgmt tab, and down 1/2 into that box, at CMS for Print, there is a box to manually select your monitor profile. I browsed and selected my current calibrated monitor profile there, and then everything matched. Apparently, DPP does not always grab your new one when re-calibrating.
