HEHEHE this is fun!

I just got my Digital Rebel in yesterday - I'm still combing through the manual to find all the functions, but I'm getting the hang of it. I've taken about 100 shots so far, and none have come out like I expected! lol

I've been using a nice Olympus 2040Z for the past few years. Small files but I always liked the nice 1.8-2.6 lens, I always got nice snapshots out of it, and it did really nice macro.

I can see the shots in my head, but I'm going to have to adjust to how this DR sees them, and figure out how to get them on disc!

I got the DR kit for $815 before the $100 rebate from digitalfoto - if anyone is thinking about it, I highly recommend them. Aw crap, and I just realized I threw out the receipt from my Sandisc Ultra II 1GB card I just bought I hope it's still in the kitchen trash - that's $20!! Best Buy has those for $114 before the $20 rebate BTW if anyone needs one.
