Dont know if anyone feels kind enough to comment on my 'reel'

I first shot the moving image last autumn with the D90

Looks pretty good. Some things I saw reminded me of the Panasonic LX3 video, although the Nikon has much higher resolution.

Colors and highlights seem to be a problem compared to stills, probably because of the rapid changes where you can't change settings between the frames. There's an occasional focus lag - not a big problem. One good thing about video on small cameras is it seems to be more forgiving of low light problems than stills are. I don't know how to explain that more clearly.

Given the Internet realities of bandwidth limitations for most people, you face the fact that nearly everyone sees your video in low resolution. With stills, the low-rez Web samples aren't a problem for visualizing unless important details are just too small to appreciate (resulting eyestrain). But with video, low-rez means the digital artifacts are exaggerated.

Im actually re-grading it now to try and contol the highlights (caused mainly in post)

DR of all of these cameras seems to be low compared to DSLR raw shooting
