I am aware of this. This would be on a shared computer for myself and my husband. My work is mostly in photoshop, Lightroom, the web,an occasional word or excel document where color isn't really an issue, his is mostly web and other apps like Ofiice, or Quicken, again, I don't think color is really an issue for him. But I know to change that setting in Firefox.
Do you do your own printing? What about screen to print accuracy? This is where my concern lies. And what are you using to drive the i1? Their software or something else?
I do use the Match 3 standard GretagMcBeth software.
I do some own printing but only up to A4 / 8.5x11 on an Epson R265 with a local photostore provided simple profile, mostly on Ilford Galerie smooth pearl (So not a typical fine-art print set-up)
I get very decent results that way, only between my web posting and printing I usually need to put in some fill light to get some richer shadows with good detail that otherwise get very dark. The amount varies based on how important and how much the shadow areas are to the total picture.
I've been thinking about an A3+ printer, but don't print enough to justify it. If I need anything bigger I usually use a local print service, again with decent (not perfect) screen to print results.
