Hello,
I have read that HP has "figured in" the shift in color when scanning profile targets in the Z3100... considering that a 5 min. dry time is not adequate for color stability.  As I recall, isn't there is a way to print the target and then scan it later?  I seem to remember trying this when I first started using the printer a couple of years ago but was never able to get it to work.  I'm currently using Ilford Galerie Gold Fibre Silk paper and I thought that by making the target and then scanning it later might yield a more accurate profile using the standard profiling system.  How important is this consideration?  I raise this question today after running into a little snag with the color reproduction on this paper.  As much as I know it is really impossible to "remember" colors, it seems to me there there is a significant color shift with a 12 hour dry time.

Thank you,
Tripp
