The Ozarks is a rocky place. Here's a couple of recent ones. First is of Elephant Rocks; second is of a multicolored rock along the St. Francis River.

Just heading off on a two week photography tour of the South Coast so I thought I should give my thread a bump before it falls too far down. It has been a slow climb towards 50 000. These shots are from Corroboree Rock in the East MacDonnell Ranges, Central Australia.    Cheers, |

This is a shot I got a couple of days ago at Johnson's Shut-ins. I believe in putting people in scenic shots to show scale, otherwise it's just another shot of rocks and water. If the person has the right poster, I think it also adds to the story.

So they are, and I re-iterated the history nearly verbatim. I managed to see a good chunk of the NT, went down the Queensland coast, across to Perth and settled there for the remainder of '07. Never did see the Pinnacles despite a few visits up to Geraldton. There are some great rocks up in Kakadu too! |

The Pinnacles appear a couple of times in the thread and are a great place for rocks and clouds.

Agreed. I also like the Death Valley one a lot. On my one trip there I was so overwhelmed by the fantastic colors that I'm sure I missed lots of great B&W opportunities. Eric |
