i have been reading this forum for three years and have picked up a lot of very good info, but have never posted.i am printing with a z3200 non ps printer,i have read on this forum that you can get a 108" print length from the hp driver, the longest length i am able to print is 80".i am printing from windows xp through Qimage software,i dont know if the problem is pc memory or the hp driver.i would be very grateful for any help with this matter.i cannot find the HPGL-2 driver on the hp website, and i dont know if this would solve the problem or not. thank you in advance for any an all help with this problem.
44"model? The 80" is a low number, 108"was possible on the plain Z3100 and don't ask how but from another system I could do something like 127", all Windows, XP 32bits.
The HPGL/2 driver is an optional driver that should according to other users resolve the print limits on the plain Z models.
What I understand is that the software key allows better networking and shifts part of the processing from the system to the printer.
Store and reprint files from the printer queue included. Price is something like 350 $
I see only the Z3100 reference but I guess that it should be compatible with the Z3200 too. You have to ask HP on that.
