Saw that it was nice weather so drove out to Balmaha for the day and a nice walk around Loch Lomond...aw...okay, maybe taking a picture or two of this tree might have had something to do with the trip. It attracts photographers from miles around for the combo of loch, tree and distant hills and it did for me, too. Quite a long exposure, this one, around 20 or 30 seconds. Thoughts most welcome!
Cheers,
Stewart.

I like it very much. I don't know if the vignetting effect is completely natural due to the bright cloud and it's corresponding bright reflection or if you added some, but either way I think it works beautifully.

It's beautiful. I see lots of light gathered on the tree and water by way of the long exposure. I see you overcame the problem of unequal light between water and sky, at least in the critical area. Very nice.

Cheers,
Stewart. Wow! this is a fantastic image....reminds me of what color images might look like if shot by Michael kenna...I think it would look even more balanced if it was a square format though....

Really effective use of time delay- That and the color saturation give the image a mystical quality. Awesome shot!

That is a spectacular image, it is very well thought out and composed, and the lighting and exposure are sublime. It also illustrates the point that even though a frequently-shot subject near where one lives may appear "boring" to the photographer, it can still be extraordinary to viewers who see it for the first time.

Really well done.
Mike. From the man who shoots more trees than anyone in the world. Well well done. Congrats. Wish it was mine.
