Something´s not right. My D100 can shoot 3 NEFs straight off before locking up for, maybe, 8 or 10 seconds. Have you tried another CF card? W

Hi everybody,
I'm new in this forum and brand new photographer with RAW.
I have a problem with my nikon D100: when I shot RAW it takes up to 30 seconds before I can shot again (green light during the camera in on hold status).
Is it normal?
I knew that D70 can shot 3 RAW per second and the D100 is slower but 30 seconds.....!!!!
Could anybody help me?
thanks

Hi
I think you're shooting compressed NEFF which takes ages to write to the card but uses less space. Check your settings and see if this is the case.
Cheers
