Hello on MAC / Snow Leopard I would like to delete profiles I cannot find where are all these profiles Eizo / ColorNavigator they are not in : / Users / erick / library / Colorsync / Library / Colorsync thank you for helping Have you tried typing the exact profile name of one of the profiles into spotlight - this should locate their whereabouts. On my system (not Snow Leopard) my EIZO/Navigator generated profiles are stored in 'my' library > Colorsync > Profiles

Where does it point you if you go to options>Show in Finder? They should definitely be wherever that points you...

I wonder if they are not in a kind of database Well, not sure. Mine are in root/library/colorsync/profiles or root/library/colorsync/profiles/monitors. Did you look inside the system profiles folder? Can't imagine the software would tuck it there, but worth a look: system/library/colorsync/profiles. Only other place it can be is /user/library/colorsync/profiles+, and you've looked there.

they are not in
root/library/colorsync/profiles root/library/colorsync/profiles/monitors system/library/colorsync/profiles
for you the list in the dock is exactly the same than the one in root/library/colorsync/profiles or root/library/colorsync/profiles/monitors ?
I don't understand why my 2 list are different and why I cannot find them with "CG243W_"
thank you

thank you The profiles might be located in the application package. Try to control-click on the application and choose "Show Package Contents" ("Afficher le contenu du paquet" in French). You could also try to use the terminal to search the content of the disk. In a terminal window try something like (without quotes): sudo find / -name "CG243W*" -printNote: searching via the find command can be very long…

The ColorSync utility should be able to locate all profiles, even those in packages and provide a path to their location. Once you find them, trash em.

merci Francois The password asked is the password associated with your account. Sudo doens't work with a blank password. You can try to set a new password for your account (and remove it after you've searched the hard drive). I don't know if this utility can be helpful but before setting a new password and using the terminal, try this: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/syst...indanyfile.htmlGood luck!
