Purely in terms of image quality, will using the lens correction tool in lightroom 3 on the raw file as opposed to in photohshop cs5 on the processed tiff file give a higher image quality, or less image degradation as the case may be, with lens correction software.
It should as one would expect from nearly all raw, parametric editing. You’d certainly be processing the data in a high gamut, high bit depth, optimized order to produce the rendered pixels and you could always go back and alter any of the settings to render a different iteration.
