I have discovered the fabulous black and white conversions possible in C1-5 using styles. I'm in love.

Isn't it?
Styles are indeed for me too one of the Capture cherry on the cake.
I use a lot the 70's for colors as a base.
but, I'd like my background switcher!

At that link you'll find our (Capture Integration) styles including several for black and white.
You should also dig into the Color Editor using our styles as starting points / teaching tools. There is more power in the control of B+W conversion in Capture One than in any other program you will find.

Thanks Doug. I learned about using the Color Editor for B&W conversion from the LL's "Guide to Capture One 5 Pro" from Reichmann and Walter Borchenko. Phase One should make that disk available to all its buyers of C1 v5. A lot of little things that can make a big difference.
