Looking for Coolscan IV Kodachrome profile

I'm looking for an ACR profile for Coolscan IV .NEFs of Kodachrome 64 slides.  Anyone have any leads?

Thanks for the link. (I am embarassed to admit that I actually had read the linked page a while ago but had completely forgotten about it.)  But I need to build a profile based on the color rendering of the Coolscan lightsource/sensor combo.

Relatedly, if I get a Kodachrome Q-60 traget slide and scan it, is there software that will generate an ACR profile from that (AFAIK, the Adobe profile generator only supports the Macbeth/Xrite 24 target as a target).

You may want to check and perhaps use VuesScan: hamrick.com

I use a Super Coolscan 5000 and the VueScan software -- fairly inexpensive to purchase.
VueScan comes with a profile for Kodachrome (K14), this has worked quite well the few times I had to scan old Kodachrome slides for some clients.

I use Silverfast on both of my scanners. The later versions have a built-in profile or you can create your own profile with an IT8 slide/target. Lasersoft also caries fresh Kodachrome IT8 targets in the event you can't find the Kodak (CAT 157 5141).

I have found it useful even with slides from the 60s.

You may wish to consult my two recent contributions to this website on scanning with SilverFast where I discuss the program's colour management capabilities, including its automated IT8 profiling feature:

The advantage of using custom profiles for your scanner is that you should get more accurate results, because no two scanners even of the same model behave identically. Canned profiles aren't necessarily bad, but well-made custom profiles should generally perform better.

Please be aware that Kodachrome can be a difficult medium to scan very accurately in certain scanners, including some Nikon models, regardless of the profiling solution.
