Interesting, I see a lot of people complained about light flaring on the 5000 (and V750).

I'm basically certain now that that nasty stuff I pointed out on the dark treeline against the bright sky when using the V was the fault of the scanner and due to scanner flare.

Unless you go to a drum scan, I think the 9000 pretty much is the best there is.
