Thanks John...am returning to the same gaff rigged ketch at the end of the week to enjoy the first week October on the Penobscot Bay, Maine.  The crew multi tasks and are a really great bunch so wanted to go with some mounted casual portraits for each of the them in insufficient thanks for their kindnesses shown me... Pat   ps My young son based in the UK for Reckitt Benckiser turns 43 today...yet I don't feel ancient yet...sleep now and then would help though.

Nice pictures, they both seem very much at ease and in full control. Also like the treatment and border. Normally I'm not a fan of big borders, but here they work well.
Only a very small nit, do you have captain Mike with his full hand, or does that bring other problems in the picture we can't see?

Glad you saw that...his wife tells me he does not like to see himself...I slipped these two shots full frame somewhat sneakily for her...she preferred the one you saw for his surprise upon my return for October...the other is more the Captain I watched at work and has the full hand you mention, and the framing I prefer...I am better prepared to go after him this time...I work mainly fixed lens , just couldn't use my feet to get the shot without him detecting me... always fun...and saltwater makes all things all moments in life good ones for me...

I too am not a fan of borders, but the simple mounted prints I have done for all of them were unified by this presentation which I simply customized print by print...

Each time someone notes a detail like the partial hand it rings in my mind in the next framing at shoot, so thank you for the additional soundtrack of guidance... Pat    ( Also total lack of tack focus)
