They both appear rather dark to my eye. I've run the second one through Aperture, using Viveza to make adjustments, & I think it definitely improves with an increase in exposure.

I particularly like the way the sun illuminates the solitary cloud in the second. I agree with the Chairman: they look a bit dark to me as well.

Funny, that; must be a Scottish phenomenon because I noticed it too!

The photos on your website are very fine indeed!

My only suggestion for the website would be to add left- and right-arrows to go to the next or previous picture in a gallery, so one doesn't have to close each before opening the next.
