Workman's Desk Image, GH2/Lens question

Michael, beautiful tones and textures in this image. I also particularly like the shadows, like the one cast by the "X" form at lower left.
My own GH2 is supposed to arrive in a couple of days and I'll be taking it to Mexico in about two weeks. I see this shot was taken with the 14-140mm. This image doesn't really test the contrast/color rendition of the lens. How does it do outside?
I'm curious about what other lenses you find yourself using with the GH2?
Thanks as always for the great information. Bob.

The 14-140mm is a very decent lens. A bit slow, but for a 10:1 zoom it really performs well, and the size is right.
For video, it's a must have.
I also have just about all the other Panasonic Micro 4/3 G lenses and also the f/0.95 Voigtlander. That's my second favourite. Just a superb optic, and amazing wide open.
I got the 8mm Fisheye before leaving for Mexico, and it's lots of fun, especially for video.
One can never have too many lenses, especially when their as small as M4/3.

Hi there,
Can I ask where you purchased your DMC-GH2? I've been looking all over for a retailer that has received it, with no luck. I've even called up all the local camera stores, and nobody has any idea when they will receive stock.
Thanks!

They are currently in short supply and high demand all over the world.
We got ours at Henrys in Toronto.

Some people have seen the silver/black version come into stock at online retailers like Amazon, B&H, etc. I saw a post where a guy ordered the silver on Amazon, and cancelled his black order. So if you are into the silver version, that's an option.
I got mine a few days ago, having ordered it on Amazon in September. This was their second shipment I believe.

Thanks for the info. I've honestly been checking Amazon and other online retailers every week, and it's always out of stock, or "not yet shipping". Maybe I've just been running into some bad luck.
