NEC P221W users, too much color shift?

I just purchased a P221W as a emergency replacement while my LCD2690 is at the shop having repairs done (under warranty).
I understand it does not have uniformity correction, and PVA panels aren't as consitant as IPS with regards to viewing angles, so I might be expecting too much, but does anyone who has this monitor notice any *significant* colour shift from left to right. When looking at a plain grey test image, it is quite greenish on left side and pinkish on the right. I calibrate i1 Display 2 and Spectraview II.
The shift is comparable to a top-down shift on a TN panel due to view angle changes.
Anyone have this issue with this monitor? Is it normal?
I was just wondering if I have a abnormally out of spec monitor, or if it is normal.

I agree. Mine was darker and greenish on the lower left. I returned it and the replacement is similar.

All recent P221W that I saw frequently were (more or less) slightly greenish in the bottom left corner and slightly magentish in the upper right corner.

I sent one back that was darker on the left 1/4 and lighter plus pinkish on the right 3/4. I assumed it was a one unit problem as lots of people report good things about the monitor. Maybe I was wrong.
I returned it and got a PA241. No problem with it.

PA241W has electronic uniformity compensation and it is as uniform, as a wide gamut display can be. P221W is not bad, but there's no comparison to the mighty PA series display.
