Hello,
I have a Sinar P3 with a 22mp 54H back and 90mm Sinaron Digital lens. What is the market for something like this? I've been following eBay for a year and have yet to come across a P3. Either they're very much in demand, or there's zero demand. I'm thinking of selling.
Thanks.
Dave

I am interested in the p3 if you have a good price? The problem with most Sinar-equipement is that it keeps it's value very bad. Sinar now give you a new p3 for just about 2000 euro if you buy a back. Same with all sinarlenses in different sinarshutters. The value is extremely low. I invested a lot in a sinar m 2 years ago. Now that is discontinued and the value Close to nothing . At that time they told me the m would be a safe investment. Henrik

Thanks for the comments. If I do sell it, it won't be for another month or so. I'll be sure to post it here though and PM anyone interested.

I know this is an old topic but has anybody figured out the market value yet. Considering the last post was a while back im sure the value has halved. Just kidding, but seriously does anyone know. I have the exact system that i am looking to buy and need to get a fair indication. Sinar P3 54H cmv 120 lens and 60 cpl lens. Hasselblad V sliding adapter. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Not sure, but I have a use-only-once P3 and 75H (almost new, and just like new), sliding back, CMV 28mm and 180mm lenses can offer to sell at a reasonable offer.

Sinar P3 54H cmv 120 lens and 60 cpl lens. Hasselblad V sliding adapter I have been asked for around 10 350 USD. Is this to much for the above mentioned do you think? considering the 54H is 8 years old and the P3 is 4 years old but in good condition. Sorry for buggin about this but deal is about to go through and dont want to be paying to much. Thanks in advance.

The normal prices would be like this: P3 3-4.000 54h 3-5.000. (maybe the best back ever made) cmv-lenses if hr. 1-1.500 each Sliding back. 1.000 Henrik

Thanks Henrik. I assume you are talking USD as well? I am just converting to current exchange rate for the South African Rand. Yes the 60mm cpl is an hr lens but the 120 cmv is not. The 54 H is, as mentioned bought in 2003 and has got dots under the ccd as a result of a poor ccd replacement job that has not been rectified as of yet. This is why i preferred the price to be a bit lower. thanks for the help, cheers. I hope the this thread may be of some more use to others now that it has a few figures.
