Canson Profiles

7880 printer, printing from LR3.3, Vers 6.61 of Epson Driver, Win 7 32 bit, Custom button (Off, no colour adjustment) in the Epson driver, Canson-supplied driver with perceptual rendering in LR, profiled monitor with appropriate luminance.
Trying Canson Baryta Photographique for the first time. Like it a lot. BUT prints are dark with magenta cast. Has anyone come across any problem with the Canson-supplied profiles or any known issues with the above set-up? I will try a custom profile but the Canson one should not be this far out.
Thanks in advance!

Looking at this post,
http://www.luminous-landscape.com/forum/index.php?topic=46010.80
maybe there is an issue with the Canson profile. Anyone else come across this? Anyone used a Canson-supplied profile successfully?

no issue w/ my 3800/OSX setup for that paper but I'm probably going to try a test using the Ilford GFS profile

Canson have confirmed to me that their profiles for the 7880 are indeed faulty and they have issued new ones here:
for 7880:

for 9880:

I posted this outcome on the following thread:

yes, and their 11880 one for Baryta Photographique is faulty too, though they dispute it at this point. Hopefully not for much longer.
On a better note the profiles for Canon x300 range are now up there on the Canson site.
