There's no dislike of the Phase at all. For me, personally, I've gotten some great moments out it in such a short time. Phase One medium format is fantastic for studio, portraits and the dynamic range you gain in landscape photography. It's come down to a matter of economics and personal choice: how long do you stay with a system is indeed very personal. Simply put: the more experience you gain, the more you find out about what you like and dislike about each system. I recently bought a Sony a900, which I can try for several weeks and I'm really amazed at the IQ and handling of that camera.If I had tried it sooner, I'd still have my M9! It doesn't rival the Phase in IQ etc, but, in my opinion, it's really more than holds it own with the comparable likes of 5DMKII or D700 or even a D3x. And I've shot with all of those systems. The a900 would have really complemented my M9, but you live and you learn. I'm simply don't hesitate to try new things. There's no perfect system, but maybe a right one for you at a given point in time. I found the best time to sell something is sooner rather than later. But if I don't sell this, I won't be broken hearted at all because I know what I have now, and it will compliment the a900 quite well. Only one downside: I just won't be able to get my M9 back anytime soon:)
